Bloody Mary is a popular drink served in airplanes, apparently your taste buds react differently at high altitude and the salty, savoury, bitter flavour is super tasty.

You can get good quality Bloody Mary mixture in a can or try your hand at our traditional Bloody Mary Recipe.

The ultimate hangover cure

Equipment

  • Highball glass
  • Cocktails shaker

Ingredients

  • 2 wedges lemon 1 for garnish
  • 2 wedges lime 1 for garnish
  • 1 pinch celery salt optional
  • 60 ml Vodka
  • 125 ml tomato juice
  • 2 tsp horseradish grated (optional)
  • 2 dashes Worchesterhshire sauce
  • 1 pinch black pepper ground
  • 1 pinch smoked paprika
  • 1 stalk celery stick garnish
  • 2 green olives on a toothpick
  • 6 Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Place the celery salt on a saucer
  • Rub the rim of the glass with either the lime or lemon wedge
  • Place the rim of the glass in the celery salt and coated it throroughly
  • Fill the glass with 3 ice cubes and set it aside to allow the glass to chill
  • Squeeze a wedge of lemon and lime into the cocktail shaker, add the other 3 ice cubes
  • Add the rest of the ingredients and shake gently
  • Strain the mix into the highball glass
  • Garnish with the olives, lemon and lime wedges and celery stalk.
